Climate Education For Children Final Thoughts [Video]

In Dec, 2010 I started a Climate Education Series of posts for children. What upset me the most was how hard it was, to put together a series of Educational information on Climate Change for children. There are not a lot of factual resources for them, especially in West Virginia. The  School children of WV are taught the awesome benefits of Coal and how good it is for their future.

I wanted to teach the children about the true effects that Coal, Gas, Oil and Gas guzzling SUVs’ have on our Planet and their future, from these CO2 emitter’s.  Also, that clean energy is readily available in the USA and is better for everyone.

I wanted to teach them how to recycle, keep the Oceans, Streams and Planet a clean safe environment for all People and Animals. I have set and thought about this for months on how I would write my final post on Climate Change for children.

Then a few days ago I was on Facebook reading through my friends post and ran across a video, shared by my friend Christopher. After viewing the video I have decided that maybe I was writing Educational information for the wrong group of people. So, I have decided to start writing an Educational Series for Adults.

It amazed me after watching this video, that the children are more educated than the adults when it comes to Climate Change and its causes. The only difference is I will have to have picture proof for the adults and they still won’t believe it.

Because children see the world a lot different than the adults do. Children see the world as their future; they care about hungry children living on the streets in other countries, clean water, fresh air, animals, aquatic life, and humans. They see the world with love, hope and peace for all.

Most Adults see the world through their bank accounts and will destroy anything and everything in site to get money. Sadly that money comes from the Fossil Fuel industries, Whaling, hunting for sport, (elephants, zebra’s, lions, tiger’s) or clubbing a fish in the head (Sarah Palin) anything that destroys this beautiful world we live in.

So, kudos to all children on this Planet that wants to make a change in their world. Apologies to the youth of the World for the un-educated greedy adults for almost (if not already) ruining your future and your Grand-children’s future on the Planet.

Thanks again to Christopher for sharing this video and very special Thanks to the young Lady in this video. It took a lot of guts to address the UN and she had no fear.
