Ever since the CDC released the Zombie Apocalypse scenario there has been a lot of talk around zombies. The biggest concern for most, if confronted with a zombie attack would be surviving. Although running into a zombie is highly unlikely it doesn’t hurt to be prepared.

Now thanks to Hornady, we have a new line of  Zombie Max ammunition to protect ourselves from the undead. According to Hornady you can ”put the dead to rest for good” with Zombie Max ammunition, loaded with proven…yes, proven Z-Max bullets.

But please note, Hornady Zombie Max ammunition is not a toy. It is intended only to be used on zombies, also known as the living dead, undead, etc. No human being, plant, animal, vegetable or mineral should ever be shot with Zombie Max ammunition.

Again, we repeat, Zombie Max ammunition is for use on zombies only – that’s not a nickname, phrase or cute way of referring to anybody, place or thing. When we say zombies, we mean zombies.

The ammo will be offered in:

• 9mm Luger (115gr Z-Max)
• 40 S&W (165gr)
• 45 Auto (185gr)
• 223 Rem (55gr)
• 7.62×39 (123gr)
• 308 Win (168gr)
• 12 gauge (00 Buck Shot).

All calibers should be available in stores by the end of the month, except for the 12 gauge, which should be available by the first part of December. Every gun enthusiast should have at least one box of these just in case, or for nothing else good conversation.
