10 Websites For Homeschooling

websites for homeschool

My Husband and I home school our 7 year old. We love it, seeing to excitement in her eyes when she learns something new or receives an A on something is the best feeling in the world. I think home school is better for children. There are less distractions from other students in class and we get to go on really cool field trips to different places. The Greenbank WV NRAO is an awesome place to take them for science and hands on experiments.

She also does Karate, awana and goes to the city Library for reading programs. So she also has socialization too. She’s not sheltered from other kids.

She is on 3rd grade level in Math, Science and History. We use many different curriculums and also the regular school books from our county. My 3 year old is already doing preschool work knows her abc’s and can count to 100. Our 2 year old uses www.abcya.com and www.abcmouse.com he can sing his abc’s and can count to 20.

I’m not bragging I’m just saying in my opinion home school is better than regular school. They learn a lot quicker and have a lot of fun doing experiments at home. We buy kits at the NRAO that they can use to build wind farms, solar panels and other science projects.

So anyway here are some of the sites we use. If you homeschool have a great time spending time with your kids and watching the excitment in their faces when they learn something new! If you don’t homeschool these sites are also helpful to use at home to help your children do better in school.
